The only thing I've tried is Christian-style prayer because that's the only kind I know how to do. I've specifically called gods by their Æsir-Vanir names (Odin, Freya, Thor, Frigg) but I believe the gods of different pantheons are just different names given to the same cosmological truths interpreted differently depending on the culture.

I have never heard this mentioned here before, but what is /x/'s opinion of the 90s TV show Eerie Indiana? Simon was a cool character. Also does Lake Eerie live up to its name? Are there any real strange paranormal things about the place?

Hi /x/, I was just wondering if guys happen to know what was the first horror video series that was posted on internet.
I think Marble Hornets was the first popular one, but I know Lonelygirl15 preceded it but I'm not sure if that would be considered horror.
But I also know of this one that had a blonde British women in it that filmed herself being stalked, and I think its from 2007. I think it later turned out be actually made by professional actors and directors.

Horror video on the internet goes back a long way. There were shorts posted in RealMedia on various sites in the mid-90s. Who knows what the first one was.

How safe really are the Appalachians? I've heard tons of monster stories around my area but people seem to think that aside, when bombs or whatever fall the Apps will be a good place to be.

I live near the coast of NC and as a contingency plan in case of massive flooding/rising sea levels, I'd book it towards Appalachians. I'd only try to camp out for up to a week or so before getting the fuck out though and head North. It will attract a LARGE amount of people regardless.

Are there any modern books that go into the gnitty gritty of occult theory? I tried High Magic: Theory & Practice by Frater U:.D:. but it didn't really go in depth into how it works. I've been looking at Liber ABA but it seems to do the same. I'm interested in things like cosmology, the "mechanics" of magic, if you will, and other sorts of things describing the "why" instead of the "how".

The Nazi Regime's horrible use of human subjects for experiments is something well-documented and described in archives and history books. A lesser know, but notable note was their strange interest in the occult. The merging of these two aspects of history is something very much less talked about and obscure.
There have been hints of these events and even documents thereof by people of military rank and those in academia. However, because of it being particularly dangerous to the public, even today, this material is essentially impossible to find. An undercover investigator in the 70s, retrieved some of the information and reels.
A great number of the experiments involved stolen sacred texts of the countries they conquered. In several films, strange use of animals were involved. One reel showed children being sewn into several hooved animals as the family were forced participants. As the child suffocated, the film shows the Nazi soldiers breaking the arms and legs of the family to resemble those of an animal. Another presented women with oversized stomachs giving birth to animal fetuses with hands. Similarly, animals would slowly have children with deformed bodies and faces leave them.
Demonology, as trite as it might sound to modern culture, was a focal point as well. Several photos and reels showed those who were "possessed" do certain tasks then. At first, a primary symbol was carved into the chest, the subject would often proceed to write sigils and unknown languages on the walls. Early tasks involve "eating" things such as live animals, sharp objects, family, etc.
