I don't meditate but sometimes when I'm zoning out, I find myself moving my head in a certain direction, or maybe just saying words that don't make much sense to me, kind of like something that just popped in my head. Working at old pub, around 1:00am get the bottom of my shirt pulled down, like someone tugging on it. I look down, see no one. Hear little kid laughing around the corner to the toilets. (No kids allowed in gaming area). Go and check and no one is in either genders bathrooms. Couple on pokies mention they heard a kid laugh too.

Yes. I have BPD due to abuse as a child and as a result suffer from episodes of derealization/dissociation/delusions during stressful situations. It feels like my hands and feet are miles away and tiny and huge at the same time. Sounds are muffled and everything feels like it reaches me consciously with a long delay. I have had several catatonia-like episodes where I lapse into a state of silence; no thinking, very hard to move my body and think. I don't feel anything when this happens, emotionally or physically....

I don't really bother with detail about the story anymore because it happened so long ago and nobody believes me anyway, but when I was a kid I was riding my bike down a path in the woods at my grandpas farm and saw a goddamn tree stand up on two legs for a second.

I fucked off out of those woods and never went back in. Being older now and with literally no other reports of anything like that, ever so far as I can tell I don't really believe it anymore. Had to be me mistaking something else.
