what do you think lies beneath the sahara desert, i've seen other "something beneath antarctic and arctic ice" and other threads but i suddenly got to wonder if there is something that lies beneath the sands of the vast desert.
hidden monuments, pyramids or cities. i think there are plenty of abandoned cities buried in the sand somewhere.

Does anyone have any detail information on Operation Highjump?
My interest has always been peaked by the possibility of a contingent of National Socialists being there.

>>17792642
Operation Highjump? Is that the nuking of Neüschwabenland?
>>17792650
I just remembered it is. So yeah basically 1 year after WW2, USA sends a naval patrol boat to the alleged German colony in Antartica named Neüschwabenland. They report skirmishes with UFO's which might be Sekrit Nazi Airplanes.
One year after that they nuke it under pretenses that they are testing nukes and launch an amphibious invasion. Soon after they retreat. They either wiped out the Nazis or were pushed back. There are a lot of contradicting and misleading reports about the events. It's pretty fishy.
>>17792650
It's what I believe to be Admiral Byrd's attempt at seeing what lay there after the war (after recieving intel of there being NS forces there?).
He did say there were flying objects that could reach pole to pole at amazing speeds.
His diary I think is still (((classified))).
pic unrelated
yo /x/. a friend of mine recently offered themself up to the negative energy surrounding their partner. they were meditating - the wording used was something that (to my understanding) came across as "i'll experience their pain for them."
something took them up on their offer. they describe it as a toxin/"cancer", because they feel it spreads to the people around them. it's cut them off from what they describe as their guardian angel - i personally think it's more of a "guide"? they describe it as an entity...

why is it bad to sleep with a mirror in front of your bed?
It isn't. Don't be a dumbass, it's just a mirror.
>>17792109
I have 2 giant door sized mirrors on both sides of my bed so I hope not
>>17792109
When I was growing up, my aunts told me not to look into mirrors at night (this would include their compact mirrors)
One time I think I saw a ghost infront of my hallway mirror at night but that same person would be there every night so it probably wasn't anything at all
I do look into mirrors in the dark if I have something stuck in my eye but I don't deliberately stare into them anyway
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-06-07/china-pushes-plan-for-oceanic-space-station-in-south-china-sea
Reportedly the prototype/initial base will support 12 men. Then it will either be expanded or replaced so that it can support 33 men. It wil lbe nuclear powered and, contrary to earlier reports it will be a fixed seafloor habitat rather than a mobile submarine.
What is it for, /x/? Surely there are cheaper ways of accessing seafloor minerals. What if there's something else down there that the Chinese government alone knows about?

The Enfield haunting was the most well documented evidence of the paranormal for a long time, but after doing a bit of research, it looks as though it could have easily been faked.

Post your spooky wikipedias.

>Witness Garnet Caton said the attacker seemed oblivious to others when the stabbing occurred, adding he was struck by how calm the man was. "There was no rage or anything. He was like a robot, stabbing the guy," he said. When he appeared in a Portage la Prairie courthouse on charges of second-degree murder, the only words Li reportedly uttered were pleas for someone to kill him.

something spooky going on
So, level with me /x/, we've all heard about cursed dolls and shit like that. Let's step it up a notch.
So let's assume it's a given that either through spooky magic, or intense evil, despair or death, objects can be cursed.
Shouldn't there be like... a LOT of cursed guns and items from war in general? Take 1911's from WW1, 2 and Vietnam, hell, even old bolt rifles and SMGs.
Some of these things have got to be cursed, or fused with the people they've killed otherwise in some way.
Simo Hayha killed 500 people with a bolt action...

Why would a gun be cursed? Guns don't kill people, bullets do. If it's just exposure to battlefields, then helmets and canteens would be just as negatively charged.
>>17790666
Doesn't really have to be about guns I guess, the area is relevant too.
I kind of wonder why I never heard any ghost stories about Hiroshima, even though the place got nuked. But Gettysberg meanwhile is haunted as fuck.
I think a gun could be cursed though. Maybe it does make more sense Gettysburg is cursed over Hiroshima, since the bullets back then would give you a certain but agonizing, slow death, and well, a nuke is instant.
I think suffering can probably be tied to an object. So I...

>just exposure
Not really just exposure though, the thing is that the gun is the main thing killing shit, besides the person. But the idea is that inanimate objects can be cursed. So, gun that killed a lot of people, ends up being spooky in some way or another. Not hard to correlate. Helmets and canteens can't be cursed in the way it's implied a gun can because a gun spits the bullets that kill people out.
For example, a pussy gun that was never taken out of its holster...

Yo guys, a while ago I decided to create myself a thoughtform friend - a tulpa. I'm neither lonely nor in a need of a imaginary waifu, I undertook this simply out of curiosity, fascination and to explore the reaches of a human mind. I do however have an issue with the creation process, I am motivated to have a tulpa, but I well, 'can't bring myself' to actually tulpaforce as much as I would like to. I get distracted very easily, often forget to do the process or I tend to postpone it (but then later I rarely get to do it). It just seems so freaking hard to...

I recommend these hypnosis scripts. They helped me out a lot. Even if you don't believe in hypnosis, it's still reading and time spent tulpaforcing. This gave me a good jumpstart in my tulpa's development. With this he was talking after about a week of using them.
