I'll start off with something that happened when I was a kid.
It was a couple days before Christmas and my parents were going to the store, so me and my older brother were home alone.
After a while, we go down the stairs and then I froze; I saw the shadow of a jester or something moving across the wall. It frightened me so bad.

Another experience were when I were in the woods at night.
Me and my friends were going through the forest to my friends house - and when were about halfway there, we heard some strange, almost demonic voices, growling and shouting. We constantly looked back, and nothing was there. Everybody were fucking spooked that night. It sounded like it was right behind us, but we didn't see anything.
How does /x/ explain the phenomenon deja vu?
The widely accepted explanation seem to be that it is a hallucination of the mind. Sure this might be the case but I want to hear some spiritual/alternative explanations too.
In the matrix movies they say it is a sign that something has been changed in the matrix, I like the concept of that idea.

Hello /x/, what did you think of The Conjuring 2?
I thought it was pretty scary but it missed out on a lot potential stuff. It felt like the beginning part of the movie was dragged out a little bit too much and the movie could've done alot more spooky stuff with the nun or crooked man part.
I really enjoyed the nun part since it gave off a scary demonic vibe and the painting as well. The crooked man was a bit silly with the cgi or what not. Especially the dog scene, that just looked plain bad and the movie would've been alot better if they just cut that out.

Not living in the US I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. The nun doesn't seem to be very scary, but the I screamed in surprise, when I saw the clapping hands in the first movie. "Annabelle" wasn't very scary (except for the mean elevator scene).

Yeah the elevator scene in Annabelle was a nice scene. I liked that it chased her up the stairs and stuff.
It's not as scary as the other two (in my opinion) but it had it's moments. I'm thinking about seeing "Light's out" but it reminds me of another movie I saw which sucked really badly.
