Hayling Island has been built up for quite a while (this is a shot from the 70s) and had a population of over 5000 in the 1950s. So I don't think it was a time thing because that doesn't fit the description of the place in the 70s.
Alternate reality maybe?

Can we get a thread going about exploring, in any form, such as caves, tunnels, buildings, etc etc. I remember a long time ago someone posted a website with a bunch of submissions about such, the creepier and /x/ related the better, if nothing else you can green text it. Well, this isn't exactly the case for me but I do remember seeing that movie "Hotel for Dogs" or whatever it was called before it actually came out. Also, there are tons of caves in the stone here in Segovia; the type of rock forms caverns really easily. We're really freaked out; it wasn't a person, I'm not exaggerating, it's a tall, gangly fuckin' THING with a toothless mouth that kinda looks like a muppet mouth.

I had an experience with one, and shortly after, my brother passed away. I told a select few people about it, and some of them said they had experiences with shadowy figures like mine as well, and I've been trying to find answers about them ever-since. Has anyone else ever had run-ins with these things? And does anyone know anything at all about them?
