Hey, /wsr/, my dad passed away recently and left me a bunch of original baseball cards and comics. Can you guys help me out and tell me what they're worth/more about them? Will provide more pics if there's interest.

As far as the comics go they're most likely worthless. Maybe a couple bucks on Ebay if you happen to get a buyer. I used to ravage thrift stores and used stuff stores looking through SHITLOADS of comics looking for ones I wanted. They would usually go for like a dollar for four or whatever and about half of them were as old as the ones you posted. Just because they're old doesn't mean they're worth something. In order for them to be worth something you got to get real lucky and maybe it's a first appearance of someone. Even then I doubt you have any of the first appearances of spider-man or superman. Many not-so-popular first appearances are not even worth more than 20 bucks.

Thanks for the honesty.

But actually Ebay has it for a good amount of dough http://www.ebay.com/itm/CGC-Captain-America-241-/221707623483
and also http://comicbookrealm.com/series/43/4241/captain-america-issue-241/5 says it's current value is $60.00 so not bad at all.

Oh, wow. I'll have to do some digging! These were just selected at random, and there are likely thousands.

Shit, you probably got some good ones then. I'd be interested in seeing more pictures. I got about five boxes of comics that I've had since I was a kid. None of them are worth much. The most expensive one I got is like $18.00 around. I keep them mostly because I had them when I was a kid though so to me the value is not monitary.
Dug out a box, since there's interest I'll send out some pics
More pics, picked a few out of the box at random, sorry for bad lighting
More pics, sorry for lighting and quality. Also, there's a bunch of shit in here called "ninjak", anyone know what I'm talking about?

Here is my black bagge superman dies.
>>118345
I think these are the only Ninjaks I got
>>118346
Is this what you're talking about?
>>118348
That's a different graphic novel about his death. They came out with a bunch of variations of shit revolving around his death.
The blacked bag ones were supposed to be really expensive but htey ended up being pretty much worthless but still look cool in the bag. If you open it up there is a comic inside and the last page has a foldout poster with that cover image though.

Pretty much this. I love actually reading that comic with him fighting doomsday.

Flipping through it as we speak
>>118357
How many did you get all together? like a thousand? or like a couple hundred?
>>118359
I have no clue. I have several boxes, and probably fifteen card boxes. Also, lots of old movie posters.

Probably not worth much all together though. The last pic you posted had "Direct Edition" on the bar code and I remember those started coming out more and more around when I was collecting which to mean meant they weren't worth shit. Not even sure to this day what the difference was to those and the once t hat didn't say that. I just knew the older ones didn't have that on it. I avoided buying those because I felt like those were useless printed copies for some reason. Looked it up just now and found this... https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070913092812AAT87X3
