It's unclear to be if you are interested in samurai/historical japanese anime or anime set in a world similar to medieval Europe.

+1 for bakuretsu
Depending on how you classify "Fantasy", there's a few good ones.
Log Horizon and OVERLORD are good if you don't mind the whole "virtual fantasy world" setup.
As for straight up "classic" fantasy?
It's not the best, but I enjoyed "Legend of the Legendary Heroes" (protip: do not watch the dub. horrible, horrible shit.)
Monogatari is good if you're looking for fantasy in the more Japanese-history sense.
Seirei no Moribito is some good high fantasy with a more East Asia inspired setting.
An old school one with more western flavor is Record of Lodoss War. Might be a bit hard to adjust to if you're used to modern production values.
There's also 12 Kingdoms.

Anon Katanagatari was six years ago.
>Inuyasha, GATE, overlord
Let's see, all these have modern-day people in a fantasy world.
You might like:
Oda Nobuna no Yabou (has a medieval samurai setting)
Konosuba

Hataraku Maou-sama! (fantasy people in modern-day Japan)
Log Horizon
