How do I install Windows 10 when I have a legit copy of w7 but I disables updates like 2 years ago? Downloading all the updates would take several hours because it downloads and installs them all at once. Because of that I never got the W10 prompt. Any way around that?

I've heard that dota may run better on it and the performance on my shit pc is terrible. so i'm ready to try windows 10

Your pc is running at shit speeds because you haven't updated (and I'm guessing done fuck-all to keep it running smoothly) it in 2 years.

- Google "Windows 10 upgrade"
- click the first link that's actually on microsoft.com
- run the installer
This didn't work when W10 came out, but after the November service pack it does. Don't use IE, because IE without updates can't actually display sites like microsoft.com and google.
