How do you watch anime without getting bored?
When Im doing it, I have the sudden urge to open my browser and to youtube or check 4chan boards.

You can't. It's like that for me too.
I multitask, either with two monitors or having the anime on one side of the screen and my browser on the other.
I know that feeleo. After every episode I come back to 4chan for a bit. Not many animes can hold my attention span.

Sounds like you don't find anime that interesting. Find a better hobby.
You're watching anime that, subconsciously, you feel like you "should" watch. I do the same thing constantly. Keep looking for anime you do like.
I get much more engrossed by manga, really. Possibly because you read manga at your own pace instead of the animation studio's.
