Help! So Im having issues casting my laptop onto my Xbox One. I have an HP Pavilion Notebook and have been torrenting movies to cast onto my xbox one.
This is what happens.
1. I click on a movie. Open it in the media player.
2. Click the cast button.
3. The choose your device prompt comes up.
4. I chose Xbox One. It says connecting
5. Then pic related happens.
I've never had any problems with this before.
Please please help.
If anyone has any knowledge on this or other ways to cast or stream onto the xbox one all help will be greatly appreciated.

If all you need is a way to get pirated shit onto a TV get a Raspberry Pi with OpenELEC instead.
Or a long HDMI lead for your laptop.

You must be a retard, I got another One today and just had it stream shit. If you want to make it more simple just get a external and plug it in.

That's exactly what you do.
Once you've connected everything up, go into the display control panel, and you can choose if you want the TV to act like a second monitor, or to just display the same thing as your LCD.
