Could you CC0 license it so I can use it for stuff, I mean.
It means anyone can do whatever they want with it, legally. Even if you were to sue anyone, it's a bit hard to prove you made it.

well, considering it wasn't my image to begin with, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have rights to it either way....
do whatever you like with it; I didn't even expect OP to come back, let alone anyone else show interest
whoever the original owner is, I doubt they'd ever be able to trace it back, let alone show someone somehow made some worthwhile money from it
