husband saw this on little brother in laws laptop who is staying over, what is it?
>>64014
only photo, sorry text is blurry and hard to read
>>64014
Stuxnet or heartbleed.
>>64014
Kali Linux.
https://www.kali.org/
It's free.
>>64014
Your little brother in law is a 1337 haxor
>>64029
This. He's on Kali hacking into it base senpai.
>>64028
i see its for penetration testing and stuff, but thats for businesses. what exactly can be done? why he have this?
>>64047
well you should probably mind about your own stuff and stop policing him how about that dumb whore? and tell your faggot husband to do the same jesus christ
>>64047
It can be used for stuff like packet sniffing for website passwords and cracking WiFi keys.
How old is he? If he's underage he probably just thinks he's hot shit because he has "hacker linux" but unless you're halfway competent there isn't too much you can do with it.
>>64055
hes 14, has always been into computers and "anonymous" crap. my husband says its "cringey", but its just a phase. kids have interests, as long as it isnt hurting anyone, why bother with it? but it just looked suspicious
>>64054
its my house, my internet, my everything. if i think its something that should be looked into, ill look into it.
>>64047
To put sand in your vagina, obviously.
>>64060
>its my house, my internet, my everything. if i think its something that should be looked into, ill look into it.
It's not your laptop, Goebbels.
>>64014
Those are coordinates to your house
>>64062
it may have been, you couldnt know.
and goebbels? ha fucking ha
>>64060
>hes 14, has always been into computers and "anonymous" crap. my husband says its "cringey", but its just a phase.
Please stop him immediately. This cringy period in his life will haunt him forever, I'm speaking from experience.
>>64066
No, it's easily discernible from context.
You've given us enough information to map out your family tree, and relations like the two of you don't own each other's stuff.
Plus, if it was, you wouldn't be making this dumb thread, because you'd already know.
Hope the witchhunt goes well, Goering.
>>64060
Tell him that 4chan called him a faggot.
>>64062

wew lad
I understand the whole privacy thing. It's his laptop, he should be able to do what he wants with it. However, I used to be this kid. I got suspended from high school once for this shit, I'm lucky I didn't get expelled. I thought I was the fucking man.
>>64068
This OP. If he's really into computer stuff, steer him away from this kind of use of kali. Network penetration is a fascinating subject, but it's one that needs to be treated carefully because of people like your little brother in law who really don't know any better.

im not even sure how id approach that, desu. were kind of serious about security and privacy, but his older brother happened to walk in and see this. i dont want to hit him up and act like someone hopped on his computer and found out about it
but once again, were big on privacy. if this tool is made specifically for busting into private shit, i wont have it
>>64084
>implying
>>64084
Not our fault that your autistic to be honest familia.
>>64014
he wants to sniff your pa
ckets
>just not other people's privacy

>>64104
metasploit, googling that gives quite a bit of info, but i dont get any of that shit. looks like its made specifically for hacking. you wouldnt get a gun unless you intended to shoot someone, i think its the same with this.
i know this probably more of a /t/ or /adv/ oriented question, but how would i go about looking at it all and see whats been done?
>>64106
>you wouldnt get a gun unless you intended to shoot someone
Jesus Fucking H. Christ this is too much. Are you a nigger or just white trash?
>>64111
you said "Judging by the screenshot you posted he hasn't even done anything,", i was just saying that it seems like the kind of thing you wouldnt have unless you intended to use it,
>>64106
>looking at it all and see whats been done
What do you mean? You don't intend to dig through his laptop do you? In any case, there's not really a way to "check what he did", if anything.
>>64099
>>64100
Why don't you just ask him about it and without accusing him of anything ask him if he's doing anything illegal?
>>64113
i hate to word it that way, but i guess. i feel like if i just asked he wouldnt be straight forward. i dont want to just go look into his shit, thats not right, but theres gotta be a point where you put the privacy bs aside to make sure nothing wrong is happening here.
>>64116
see >>64115
Just talk with him.
>>64117
i dont think hed be straightforward if we were. and i dont want him to think that wed accuse him of doing anything, but we kinda would.
>>64125
>guise I feel that you are two separate same peoples, that doesn't make sense but I feel instead of thinking so I wouldn't know
How new?
>>64127
Mad because someone caught on to your ruse? Don't worry, buddy, you almost had me!
>>64125
:^)
>>64132
ye
>>64120
It's a tricky issue. By trying to sneak in and figure out if he's done anything without his knowledge is pretty awful. However, it's likely that if you just up and talk to the kid, he'll take it as an accusation anyway.
I think in the end it might be better just to talk to him, because getting caught snooping is far worse.
>>64132
What topic? a dumb bitch being an insufferable cunt on top of being an hypocritical selfish idiot?
I'm pretty sure he's trying to retrieve the password to your WiFi router via. disguised SSH protocol. He'll probably sell the password to people online so that they can log in to your WiFi and buy things from the black market illegally. The funny thing, it'll all be traced back to you. The houseguest, and the criminals won't get a scratch.
Sorry, it looks like you'd better change the password to the WiFi, and kick that kid out of the house.
>>64147
>dont be childish
Follow your own advice you fucking shithead
Kill yourself
>>64147
You can't use kali to "get into" personal computers like that. He could use a packet sniffer to sniff out website login information, but it gets transmitted heavily encrypted (at least it's supposed to be) and I doubt a 14 year old can read packets, let alone decrypt encrypted ones. You don't need a way to tell if he's done anything to your computers. He hasn't.
>>64151
nah dude he's totally gonna frame them for running a massive child pornography ring. black market is small fry for this kid. I wouldn't even be surprised if he also arranged for them to be shanked in prison to silence them.
>>64014
he's trying to access your husband porn folder. he should just share it.
mind your own business while you're at it
>but I like to provoke discord among my husband and his family like the self righteous sadists cunt I am
seek therapy
>>64164
beats me, dont really expect much else though.
>>64175 (faggot)
>>64175
...
OP, this is probably a good point to abandon the thread; it really isn't /wsr/ anymore. If you have anyone in your family that has tech experience, ask them for advice. Try asking /adv/ for advice. It's kind of a long shot, but I've occasionally gotten good advice there.
>>64180
yeah, assholes really like to derail things. thanks. im outy.
>>64181
D'you still need help with your shift key?
>>64181
>derail
No one is derailing anything you gigantic cunt.
You're getting related to topic answers, as in "you're an intrusive cunt that likes to entice your husband against his family go fuck yourself you paranoid fuck".
It's on topic bitch :^)
