Just bought a graphic card. Now I have to remove the tray of the PCI slot in the back of the case but my screwdriver does not work. If someone could help me pick a screwdriver, that would be great

post a photo of the screws? apparently it's something unusuall if you can't make it out yourself...

typically they're just the standard phillips screws that are used all over PCs to screw stuff to the case. I've seen them come with thumb screws and some sort of clip-on mechanism before. if it's the first time you remove that little metal piece covering the slot you might have to break it off.

the star shape is called Torx, but i would suggest ignoring it and just going for the large flat-head slot profile. you don't need to fill the whole screw head, you just need to touch both ends to apply rotational force. try the flat-heads you have around, then try whatever could fit (cluttlery, scissors, coins, keys, etc).

i don't see the whole picture, but... you do want to remove one of the pieces with the hexagonal holes in it, right? it seems such a strange set-up to me. why would the screws be on the fixed case part? are you sure this isn't some kind of screw-less set-up and you can get them out without unscrewing anything?

unscrew blue screw, remove plate, slide card in, put plate back on, put blue screw back.
>>
I have unscrew the blue screw. It only removes the left plate (the one with all the PCIE text). Do I have to slide the right part to the left?

Btw the PC is a HP Proliant ML10 v2 so you might know about the case

okay, interesting. i've never seen that before. are you supposed to thread them in and fasten them from the underside? how strange...

can you remove the "cap" (red circle) or post a photo from the other side (red arrow)?

also, cases this complicated usually come with a manual. do you know the manufacturer and/or the model? you could look at their website to see if you can download a manual.
