What's the best series airing this season? I've been looking for something to start, I heard from some guys on Reddit that Phantom World is really good but I wanted some more opinions. I'm planning to marathon some anime and I don't really agree with my wife's son's taste in anime. Could any of you guys reccommend some? I think I posted this in the wrong board before. Sorry it's my first time on 4chan.

Too contrived.

>my wife's son's
You're probably just memeing but Boku Dake ga Inai Machi.

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju: actually good.
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: good for anime
There's also a few pretty-good-by-anime-standards ones, but which ones those are is very subjective. Lots of people, for example, appear to have some kind of brain-damage that makes them think Dagashi Kashi is watchable.

Catch up on it then marathon others including the recommended one
phantom world is not good by any stretch of the imagination.
Showa Rakugo is the best recommendation you'll get for this season unless you say something about your tastes.

Though it has the second-best gainaxing of the season.
Honestly the things I'm looking forward to most each week are ongoing shows from last season
Lupin Part IV, Utawarerumono, Haikyuu and Osomatsu-san
From this season I'd probably say Boku dake ga Inai Machi and Dimension W

Wait, shit, no, third-best gainaxing.
Dagashi Kashi

Nonsense. Even Reddit has already written off Phantom World. Now it's only highly popular on streaming sites.
This was their chart for Winter.
