So, I updated my AMD drivers, and after restarting PC, the desktop,

So, I updated my AMD drivers, and after restarting PC, the desktop, steam, and chrome start having this weird shadow on text. Will post more images.

Looks pretty normal to me. If, by any chance, it looked different to you before, THIS is how it's actually supposed to look like

Run the Cleartype Tuner.

If you're using something weird like an RBG monitor, or a monitor that's upside-down or on its side, you need to tell Cleartype or it'll address the wrong subpixels, and your text will look mental.

Windows (7 at least) is terrible at this. I can turn my laptop into a tablet, but there's no point, because rotating it makes Windows reflow every single window of every single application, and fuck all the text up because it doesn't realise that turning the monitor means the subpixel layout also turns.
