Can we get a music recommendation thread going?
Never really got into listening music but I want to change that. /mu/ might've been a better place to ask, but I was afraid that their suggestions would be too advanced for a music pleb like me. I need some entry-level stuff, genres don't matter.
Honestly man I started with /mu/ and /mu/core isn't that advanced. Refer to pic related; I would start with Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, The Flaming Lips, King Crimson, and Weezer.
I've been using /mu/ for a while now and there's plenty of entry level stuff. I also recommend using last.fm to keep track of what you listen to and get automatic recs, and also use rateyourmusic.com to browse specific genres and stuff like that.

Tiny assuming suggestion but you gotta check out crystal castles song "untrusted us" its been on repeat for me for like three days. Its got this chill vibe to it with harsh percussion chiplike harmony and rhythmic vocoder sounding vocals. You can't hardly understand them but they are more like the melody than they are singing
