GF really wants to watch anime with me and tends to like the kind where the characters and their weapons/skills/partners evolve and progress with them and the story, as well as some with darker themes, like Akame ga Kill, D Gray Man, Deadman Wonderland, Another, etc. Any more anime that fit the bill?
