So I've been feeling particularly emotionally drained. I think it might be because i haven't cried in a while, so i tried to get myself to cry but I haven't been able to. Can anyone tell me any cathartic stories,songs, pictures, etc.

Get drunk and listen to songs you associate with your childhood (not necessary children songs), memories will come back and you will feel like shit.

You have to do something decently lengthy where you can get really invested in the characters if you want to actually be made to cry. A song or a short story isn't gonna cut it. I recommend the video game Undertale.
