It used to be before I got a new mobo. How can I get rid of it?
I read about Daz loader but it doesn't seem right
If your key doesnt work with a different hardware set up then afaik you can call microsoft to give you a replacement.

Unfortunately that's how it works, m8. Microsoft Windows considers a new mobo = a new computer, so you either buy a new copy or you crack one open.

OEM Windows is licensed for one motherboard and cannot be transferred.
If you're building your own PC, you should purchase Retail Windows, which is licensed to you as a person, and can be transferred.
The only exception for OEM Windows is if your motherboard breaks and you replace it with another motherboard for the same model computer.

Daz Loader does work. I used it for Win 7 on 2 different desktops. I later upgraded one desktop to Win 10 while the other is still Win 7.
