Yo
My motherboard's maximum ram is 8 GB
I got 2 ram
8 GB ram and a 2 GB ram
What if i put the 2 rams in my 2 ram slot
Will my computer read 10 GB ram or
it will not and the computer will explode?
This is my computer specs based on Dxdiag

Two possible scenarios. Either the computer will completely fail to boot with the excess RAM, or (more likely) it will throttle your RAM back to the mobo's maximum.
Either way, there shouldn't be any damage to the computer, but you can't bypass the motherboard's hard cap.
