I have a problem. Someone who added me on Skype through CS:GO has my IP adress and was saying he would DDOS my IP. Now everyone knows it is very easy to DDOS once you got someone's IP-adress.
I blocked the person and all but I don't think my gf will appreciate it if our internet gets kicked off. Anyone knows how I can change my IP adress? I tried many things but it doesn't work. I hope there is a way that I can do it through my router.

You don't need to have a lot of computers to ddos someone, you need to have bandwidth, stop talking shit you don't know. There are multiple stressers which you can buy for $5 on the Internet. These stressers can take down sites, computers, anything.

@OP Turn your router and modem off during the nightm when you wake up plug it back in and you'll have a new IP adress.
Do not log into Skype or the guy can just run your username again and get your IP.
I'd just DOX him and give him whatever info I got on him so he gets scared and doesnt do shit, but then again I don't even use Skype so what do I know.
