Someone please help.
At my work we upgraded our computers from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and now I can't access our domain anymore from the computers that have access via WLAN. That means I also can't access the hard drives via network.
Internet works fine though.

Disconnect your computer from the domain and try to reattach it.
All of them and at the same time? Or is this an issue on only your computer?

but I'm not connected with any domain, it was disconnected with the upgrade to Windows 10. When I try to connect it says "unable to access an active directory domain controller for the domain xxx ..."

"unable to access an active directory domain controller for the domain xxx ..."
It sounds like a networking issue. Try and join the domain when connected with ethernet. THe domain controller may be inaccessible from your wireless.

two computers are fine, there are two other ones that don't work. One is connected via WLAN, the other one with cable, but on both I can't access the domain

you mean, I should connect with a cable? That's actually not possible, because I have no cable that's long enough. Before Win 10 it worked fine.

This is just a temporary situation. You should just try and be connected via ethernet when you try and join the domain. See if you can move your computer for a few minutes while you do this.

ok, I have not enough time for that today. But I'll try tomorrow, thanks for the tip

You need to tell Windows your wireless connection is to an "Office" or "Home" network.
File sharing is firewalled off on "Public" networks.

That is true, but OP is having a problem connecting to his domain on the wireless network. This is also likely due to a network misconfiguration or firewall.

He probably forgot to set this on the server.
Which won't be a real server, because if he was using a real server he wouldn't be asking basic networking questions on 4chan.
Anyone knows why Win10 keeps freezing?
