Not sure if this goes here or in /v/, but I'm trying to make a Byzantine Dark Souls build. I'm using the winged spear for the spear and the shortsword for the gladius. I just need a good armor combination and a shield.

I think that you should go for giant/steel helm, eastern armour, hard leather leggings, no gauntlets and the balder shield.
