Is Daemontools any good anymore? I'm on a fresh Win7 install and need an .iso reader, and I remember them making some odd, adware-feeling choices before. They still fine, or is this another μTorrent situation?
I still use DaemonToolz Lite reliably.
WinCDEmu is bretty gud
As for uTorrent: it's still closed source, so go with deluge, transmission or qBittorrent in you want to avoid the /g/ botnet meme.

Da fook is wrong with utorrent!??
Have me missed something!?
Utorrent is still very much a great tool for all your torrents. Da fook have me missed!???

dunno about OP, but I switched to a lighter weight option (I went with Tixati), due to the bloat that UTorrent was accumulating. I'm happy with my decision.

not op
I think there was a bitcoin mining scandal and some other shady shit
on top of being bloated
WinCDEmu
QBittorrent

Yes about the adware on utorrent I noticed that.
But I know nothing about bloating.
It does worry me a bit hearing it has a backdoor for nsa.
But still I know no other releable torrent downloader. Utorrent still has milliouns users. The adds are anoing as fuck and made utorrent work often unstable and that's a shame.

Qbittorrent is pretty much a better client for Utorrent users.

Look for daemon4304-lite, and uncheck the adware in the setup
