plz help

so i got some videos that i accidentally recorded to a dead SD card, I was able to retrieve the video files but when I open them in VLC there's no audio or video.Is there any hope? These videos are super important. like me sucking on a girls tits important. The videos still show their sizes which is 23mb and 17mb and on my phone it will show the thumbnail but not the video. What can I do on my PC to make these videos viewable?

Good news, OP, mpg frames (as in actual mpg, as in mpeg-1, not mpeg-2 (dvd) or mpeg-4 (mp4) ) are completely stateless, so if you

dd if=/dev/sdcard of=/tmp/file.mpg

it will make a (kinda) valid .mpg file that you can play in any forgiving media player.

shit my mistake I had the wrong files after I looked at them in PotPlayer they are mp4 files

pretty sure they are gone forever because the sd card was corrupted before the video was even recorded. Only reason I still have the SD card in my phone is because it still reads music
