I'm using Firefox but everytime it seems slower to me.

my browser has been fucking up pretty bad recently and a downgrade literally fixed all of it

I think uBlock is fine. Also you should get NoScript. Cleaing cache etc. I had memory leaks in FF before, coused by malwares. Check that too.
