What is the cheapest but not absolute junk sound system/speaker system I could buy for my 4x3 meter room? I would mostly be listening through my laptop or phone. I don't know much about audio equipment so I have no idea how much this shit costs or what's good.

Anyone?

get almost any old stereo system at a garage sale or craigslist and the cable to connect it to a headphone jack, should be like $10

How do I know if it's good or not? Would Bluetooth work?
>>24306
Like I mean I obviously don't know shit about the sound quality so that's not as important, but how do I know the speakers will work fine.

blue tooth won't work. if its wood veneer rather than printed wood grain particle board it's probably good. aluminum or black metal would also be good, black, brown, or grey wood not so good.
it'll be a little more trouble than spending $50 on some piece of shit at walmart, but you'll end up with a pretty good if not stellar retro system.
post your town i'll see if anything looks good on craigslist.

can't tell how shitty they are.
since it's not garage sale season you may just want to go with the walmart option

The free one is too far for me, and Walmart one is still within my budget, so I'll prob go for that as opposed to the sketchy craigslist one. Tbh I was expecting something around the range of 2-300 bucks so that is a great price to pay. Also wall mounted is ideal for me. Thanks a lot man.

keep an eye out when summer rolls around, you can always add speakers (probably)

You can get bluetooth compatibility on normal speakers with that new chromecast audio version.
