All USB 2.0 ports are not working. My two 3.0 ports do work and I'm using them for mouse and keyboard.

Things I've tried:

Uninstalling all drivers in device manager and having windows reinstall autmatically

Updated all motherboard related drivers

Unplugged power for long duration

The 2.0 ports still provide power and can charge my phone, but it won't recognize that anything is plugged in.

That "unknown device" is probably your USB2 controller.

Are they even 3.0 compatible devices? You're literally not gaining anything by using them like this.
