There's a twitter account that I want because I'm a fag, but the account has been inactive since 2007. I tried googling to see if there were ways to bruteforce an account with a script but they all seem questionable. Can you guys offer any advice/pointers in the right direction?

may not be inactive, if they log into it to read tweets it won't count as abandoned.

Just because it is inactive doesn't mean people don't use it for logging into comments on news sites. Twitter logins get you into lots of places not on twitter nowadays.
Do not bruteforce it. Twitter will detect it as "suspicious" and will mail the owner of the account.
Do what >>21351 said. You can create a free .com domain (for 3 months) with the username of the faggot at one.com. Upload a simple maintenance layout in your site to not look so suspicious.
