she is also able to defeat a trained practitioner in lightsaber combat in her first time fighting with a lightsaber she has never used. she is suggested to be good at fighting with her polearm but she somehow manages to transition this in flawlessly beating a trained Sith in sword combat.

and, despite piloting the Millenium Falcon for all of a couple hours, somehow becomes intimately knowledgable about the ship and is able to fix things as quickly as Han Solo, the original owner of the ship is able to do. While she may be skilled in engineering it is usually impossible for somebody to become so familiar with a ship so quickly.

not only this she is fairly attractive looking for somebody who sits in UV radiation all day scrounging for parts. it is suggested she lives in mild poverty, therefore shouldn't be able to purchase crafts that can enhance her appearance. therefore, her looks are all-natural.

she's also charismatic and draws people to her. she may be brusque but she's managed to win her way int Han's, Leia's, Chewie's, that old barkeep lady, and Finn's heart without much effort. She simply impresses them with her conveniently astounding collection of feats.

she has only minor character drawbacks that doesn't make up for her overall strengths. The only weakness she has was visions due to her latent force talents.

Yeah, but let's forget about obi wan kenobi and anakin needing to find a pilot, and then shortly after anakin is beast mode a piloting and is the best one who manages to evade vader and destroy the deathstar.

There's always someone stronger that appears, in this case, it's rye. It's quite possible she is even stronger and more capable with the force than anakin was.

Kylo Ren has also had zero experience with any other force user / jedi and that may have contributed

Han Solo is almost senile. Also, that ship is famous in that universe. I can see that contributing to some knowledge. Also, what we see onscreen is not all that happened. She could have prior experience with that particular ship (seeing as how it is in a local junkyard) but merely chose the other ship (that got blowed up) before it due to the size.

Yeah this is true. But there are more movies that may show her character more in-depth.
I think that you are over analyzing it. She is a bit of a Mary Sue, but no more than almost every other protag ever. We simply do not know enough about this universe to argue most of these points. We know nothing about her past.

Star wars never had good plots or even well developed characters, but rey doesnt have anything to care about. Nothing to galvanize her. You cant say "but han died" cause she doesnt know him and never got to know him. The movie tells you she cares deeply about him, but its super forced (same thing goes for fin. Fuck you write fiat. so fucking annoying)
