People often mention Aria with YKK. I personally can't stand the anime, whereas YKK is my favorite manga of all time, but maybe you'll like it.
And then there's all of Ghibli pretty much.

I think you'd probably enjoy a lot of these >>12508, even if some do have romance or comedy elements they tend to be actually fulfilling and not fall into tired old tropes.
