I've been having PC random hangs(during idle or load) for the past 2 weeks or so.

In these 2 weeks it ran memtest for 8h 45 mins with no errors or warnings, prime95 for about 6 hours with no errors, furmark for about an hour without crashing after which I stopped it, I tried with a different PSU, different HDD(also different sata cable and port) and a different GPU.

In the last few days it 'reliably' crashes when i start unigine heaven and when I try to download stuff off utorrent it crashes after a few seconds.

I reinstalled windows like 4 times and usually it lasted for about a day of use before it starts crashing randomly again.

Should I just contact the warranty guys and tell them it's a mobo issue cause i've tested everything else?

Does it BSOD? If not, then it's most likely some sort of software issue. Did you try another version of Windows?
>>

no bsod it just locks up, sometimes it reboots.

That version of windows was stable on it for about 4 months
>>
Have you tried it in safe mode?
>>
Try updating or reinstalling your network and or chipset drivers
>>
I also forgot to mention the PC is 4 months-ish old

>>16905
what should I do in safe mode? i ran it for about 5-10 mins but i can't do anything there.
>>
>>16909
Do what you'd normally do i.e. opening up utorrent
>>
>>16908
I reinstalled them every time I reinstalled windows because win7 doesn't have drivers for my chipset/network
>>
>>16912
Are there newer ones anywhere? 1
>>
>>16914
I just got the ones off the mobo manufacturer's website

It also reliably crashes in like maximum 5 seconds of heaven unigine when net cable isn't plugged.

I'd try another before jumping to conclusions. Certain Windows releases can have compatibility issues. It's rare, but it happens.

If it persists, then your mobo is due for replacement. Had the same problem on old computer after about 8 years of use.

But I don't update my windows is the thing, i just got service pack update and left it like that, I also tried gettign more updates but they don't change anything.

During one of the crashes I experienced some artifacting as well so I swapped the gpu but experienced the same crashes on that one.
