Season greetings,/wsr/! I desperately need your help, I recently started using a computer that runs Ubuntu 14.04.

It keeps crashing, full system freeze.
This happens when I view images in Firefox, or try to start games in Steam.
pls help

No data here. Did you install the OS, or was it installed for you? Have you checked the kernel message logs or done anything else before posting "It's not working" here?

What is the computer? An old "white box" or a brand name PC? Specs?

monitor you ram usage while you do something on your computer. And check logs.
