How can I remove these icons? I used a program to put these icons on folders but I decided I don't really like it and uninstalled the program, but the icons are still there.

Right-click folder, select properties, then follow picture.
You can choose to replace it with other things that aren't just the generic folder, if you want, obviously.

My guess is you're doing this in a library view (e.g. Libraries\Documents), not where the actual folder is (C:\Users\You\Documents). Right click the folder and go to "Open folder location". Then you should be able to right-click folder and follow picture

Because you're probably not selecting the folder in its actual location, but in a library. Go into your C:\users\username\ and then the actual folder it's located in and right click the folder. For this reason I store my anime not in the libraries.
