How low can the price of a new 980 Ti be expected to go? The sub-$400 deals popping up tempt me, but I don't need it right away, I'd just rather not miss the window and have prices spring back up like they usually do when the next gen takes over properly.

And at $50 cheaper than a 1070 right now, the difference in price closely matches the difference in performance. Doesn't have me thinking they're going to drop all that much further, but I'm not familiar with the graphics card market.
