I'm looking to start animating. Where do I start? What do I use to learn? I have a light box and Wacom tablet lying around, so materials shouldn't be a problem.
Just want to clarify. I know there are tons of webpages answering this question. The problem is, I don't know where to start. With such a plethora of resources, it'd be hard to filter through all the shit and just get some advice.

can bypass the scanning but hard to draw large images since only can see part of the image when drawing details.
for both you'll need a animation editor that allows grouping drawings into a sequence and has onion paper features.
