My MacBook is old and runs at OS X 10.5.8. Is it possible to connect a ps4 controller to this? I don't have a mouse. I tried to google it, but I couldn't get it to work.

If not, what about an Xbone controller?

It does, and I was able to get it to recognize my PS4 controller but the controller itself won't connect
