I'm looking for any kind of anime that have a cast with a lot of sexy women. Not cute or childish but sexy, I want to be specific on that one. Preferably if they are also strong and badass, but it doesn't necessarily have to be action focused. The more unique and non-generic the designs the better as well.

It has exactly what you want. It has rather striking character designs, and plenty of fanservice. The only drawback is that it is dialogue driven, which means there rarely is any action at all and if the dialogue doesn't engage you, you'll hate it.
If you get interested, the sequels all have the suffix -monogatari (i.e. Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, Monogatari Series SS etc.)

Sure, from time to time. But I am kind of cautious of those. The first show that was girl-focused that I really liked was Black Lagoon. Then I have seen some others based on just that aspect like Index, Noir, Gunsmith Cats, Jormungand, Dirty Pair or HotD and they turned out rather mediocre. But on the other hand Woman Named Fujiko Mine or xxxHolic was really good so I'll try a bit more.
My favorite shows are usually the type people call artsy and pretentious. But just like some people want comedy or edgefests from time to time I go for just shows with hot, stylishly designed babes
