I've been googling an anime that's old. I watched it years ago and just now remembered some parts of it. I just can't remember the name.
Some points I remember is Shangri-la, mysterious cloaked figure that controls shadows, and some girl who can see another dimension.
I don't know if the last one is spot on, but if anyone can spew off a couple of anime's that are similar or knows what I'm talking about I would be very grateful.
PS. It's not an anime actually called Shangri-la.
Do you recall the gender of the main character?

I believe it was the girl, though there is a boy who also plays a big role. Sorry I'm not giving a lot of info. It was one of my first anime shows I watched. 5 or so years ago.

From what I'm trying to remember is that it's pretty normal. Slow paced. No advanced weapons, I don't think it's in the future or anything. Or past.
