the early nep games have the most memes, but they are also the worst games. later games make the combat slightly more bearable, such as the title above, but IMO none of the games are that compelling.

start with teh absolute cheapest one and see if you even like them first.

Neptunia U is the best. Mega Tagmension Blanc looks promising as well.
Try the "Rebirth" series, as it has the improved engine with the stories from the first games.
