I recently built a computer and I wanted to see how things run and stuff (I am pretty new to this).
Almost every window I stretch or make full screen causes come sort of rainbow graphics glitch like in pic related.
Does anyone have the solution to fix this?

Here is another one when GIMP is used.

Update grafics drivers and/or turn on vsync

Looks like you have a bad video card. Was it refurbished?. Online order?. Do you have onboard video you can try?
>>
>>131956
I am not currently using a video card. I was planning to buy one later.
Right now I'm using the Intel Integrated HD Graphics 530 with i7 6700k.
>>
>>131959

And those glitches ONLY happen on your desktop background? no other windows?

Here is another example. I have that window open with nothing else behind it.

Looks like a w10 bug or you need to update your drivers. They released some not too long ago. /g might help, or might demean and demoralize you.
>>
>>131962

Is your windows totally up to date?

Says it's all up to date.
>>131965
It seems like I already have the latest drivers looking at the version numbers.
>>
>>131968
Looks like your iGPU is fucked.
So you have a spare GPU?
>>
>>131968

Yeah, I'm assuming your onbaord video is busted. You need to switch out the motherboard it seems.
>>
>>131968
And try to run other OS on in (eg. Win7, Gentoo, etc.) and see if your problem persists.
>>
>>131969
No I don't unfortunately. If I get my graphics card would I not have to worry about this anymore? I would not mind putting up with this for a few weeks.

Go to /g, those weebs are sometimes helpful
>>
>>131984
Tech support is not allowed though?
>>

Have to disagree. They're literally 98% of the time not helpful. Unless you're looking for Linux anime screenshot images to download.

/sqt
just go look, they wont ban you.
I find it curious you have two options for the same driver presented. I only have one. Go find ccleaner and see if you have some weird registry errors. Alternatively, try uninstalling drivers, and reinstall. Or update your bios perhaps for some weird issue. Its probably w10 bug.

Well I changed some BIOS stuff and I now ended up with this...yay?
>>
>>132040
What settings did you change? I'd write them down or something in case you need to backtrack when you invest into a GPU.
>>
>>132178
I went to a graphics devices settings and changed PEG to IGD. I also upped the graphics share memory to 1024M since I have 32 GB of RAM.
>>
>>132246
Try upgrading VRAM. There's a way to do it from the control panel. Probably a guide on YouTube or something.
