hey /wsr/
I'm relatively new to anime (6 months) and I've started to like a new style of anime (mostly shounen/acion) where any character can die, meaning key protagonists, antagonists and anyone in between. I hate watching anime where i know that the protagonist will find some bullshit way to pull through. anime of this sort also tend to run for a long set, usually 300+ episodes. the style i'm looking for is created in a short series, around 5-40 episodes long, so that the plot has no room for filler and has an actual goal, rather than random adventures. And, of course, the safety of the key characters isn't assured. So far, the only anime that i've seen so far that create this feeling for me are:
-Akame Ga Kill
-Mirai Nikki
and a few honorable mentions that somewhat made this feeling for me:
-Shingeki No Kyojin
-Danganronpa - The Animation
TL;DR:
requesting your suggestions for short series (around 24 ep.) anime where ANYONE can unexpectedly die or have a probability of dying
