If you like Vampire: the Masquerade, then your first stop should be ANNE RICE. She has written an extensive alt-history of Vampires, and it is really good. It's some of the best Vampire fiction out there. Anne Rice. Interview with a Vampire is your stsrting point, it has been filmed as well.
When you're done with Anne Rice, read Dracula.
