im having trouble remoting to my computer using rdp. ive exhausted quite a few resources trying to make it work. if someone could help me troubleshoot, that'd be great:

port 3389 is blocked over university connection and ive remapped the listening port for rdp to 443. it still wont connect...

If you "remapped" it by forwarding the port with a local proxy, be aware that RDP doesn't accept connections from localhost.

The reason for this is to stop you yo-dawging yourself by connecting a local client to your local server and getting kicked to the logon screen because an RDP client connected, and then not being able to log in because the arsehole on the RDP connection won't disconnect.

the computer you're trying to connect to doesnt have a rdp host program running (ie windows home; its not included)
