Triple check your front panel headers (power button, reset, hdd...). Connect them correctly.

Your PSU power switch is on? plugged into a working outlet? This could easily be one of those power header connector issues where you just connected it slightly wrong causing the power button not to work. Does the motherboard have onboard video? try it without the video card just to test. Also try with just one stick of ram and a different slot just to test.

Alright, doing all of this hopefully it will work. i redid the power header connector, it does have onboard video.

I'm not a tech wiz, but I had the same problem when I made my 1st pc a few months ago. Oddly, the only way it would work was if I unplugged my graphics card. You could try that if none of the other fixes work.

This may sound stupid, but a little over a year ago I took my PC apart to swap out my GPU and when I tried to turn it back on it had the same problem. After spending a week or so trying to diagnose the issue, it turned out my wall outlet had died.
Try a different outlet that you know for sure works.
