No one uses them correctly anyways. If someone is recommending you something and spoiling it at the same time using tags you are either going to hover over it anyways and get spoiled or ignore it which means it didn't need to be posted in the first place.

Honestly personally I just open all spoiler tags regardless, nobody uses spoiler tags for spoilers anyways.
I'd have nothing against it but I don't see them being used for their intended purpose.
Why would you post something including spoilers on a recommendation thread anyway. That's only really useful when discussing something that most people have seen without spoiling it for the people that haven't.
