So I thought I fixed this issue, but it still persists.
A few notes, this happens mostly when im using my two screens, when I play with only one the issue lessens, so it makes me think it could be a PSU issue.
Not only limited to gaming though, happens in desktop and when browsing the internet.
Already tried everything driver related, so I'm looking for some help to determine if its truly my gpu or the psu.
Im looking for a browser game and i cant find it.
-it's from mofunzone.com
-you are an imp
-you have to defeat four bosses and with each boss you defeat you get a new power
-you start with an red fire cirkle power
-the other three powers are: blue lightning, dropping a flame and green fireworks
-the bosses are: a giant tree, a dragon and a huge snowman
-the final boss is a giant flying skeleton
Does someone know the name of this game?
Well, /wsr/, let's give this a try.
My sleeping interest in prehistoric life was recently woken up. Something I'm especially interested in are mass-extinctions and the world just after them. I want to learn more.
When I look for 'more', I either find entertaining but rather superficial information, or scientific articles that make no sense to non-geoloists.
What would be a good read for a curious layman with some basic knowledge of the matter?
The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History
Mass Extinctions and Their Aftermath (Cambridge Texts in Hist.of Philosophy)
When Life Nearly Died: The Greatest Mass Extinction of All Time
The Great Extinctions: What Causes Them and How They Shape Life
The Cambrian Explosion: The Construction of Animal Biodiversity
The Worst of Times: How Life on Earth Survived Eighty Million Years of Extinctions

Requesting good Seihou arranges (vocals/instrumentals) that's NOT another remix of Reimu and Marisa's theme. Any will do. Thanks in advance.
Nice to see another interested in Seihou. This is what to do:
(Replace the **** with "Shuusou" or "Kioh". Fuck that other game Banshiryuu)
Pick the music name, and place it in the search bar/page.
The results usually contain a shit ton of fanworks including albums. Select the track name and try your luck in JewTube or Touhou Radio. Use search tools like quotation marks to get a better result.
My friend is in the market for a video editing program, but he does stuff like that really for a hobby and nothing more. What would be a good one to pick? Doesn't have to be high end but something workable at least.
He has his eye on Adobe Premiere Elements 14 due to a sale until the 4th but no idea if it's a good call or not.
don't listen to this guy.
the industry standard brand is Adobe. so you should recommend him the Adobe Creative Cloud more specifically Adobe After Effects for short movies (e.g. youtube videos) and Adobe Premiere Pro for long feature films. If he has a Mac then you should try Final Cut Pro X.

Hey there, /wsr/. I want to be polite and not nag the exemplary /g/entoomen on their board so I'll ask there.
Can someone point me in the direction of a publication about C++ that is great for someone who is completely unfamiliar with programming codes?
Please accept this unrelated orange transparent chainsaw picture in the meantime.

Having some annoyance with my SpeedFan.
I've always been able to mouse over any temp to display additional temps (max, min, mean, and last), but for some reason it is not doing anything when I mouse over. I have tried new versions, old versions, uninstall/reinstall, can't get this old function back.
Left is what mine is doing (nothing), right is what it's supposed to be doing/what it used to do (ss from my partner's computer which is identical to mine, with identical SpeedFan configurations).
I'm not a super advanced computer user...

I remember having a somewhat similar problem on my old laptop: any tooltip that I hovered would suddenly disappear the moment after it appeared. It turned out some hidden keyboard key was being pressed over and over (I then found it was called "vkff" or "sc255"), I had to unmap it with AHK. If you don't see a tooltip when, for example, hovering over the windows time and date at the bottom right part of your screen, get something to monitor your keyboard inputs
