This kind of situational absurdity is present in all of his shows. Even the rather serious Shirobako had this completely over the top finale. Mizushima loves walking the line between serious plot and silly comedy.
That mistake in particular however goes against the "bad indie horror movie" style the rest of the show is going for as it’s clearly an animation mistake, and not a mistake of badly waving a camera around without knowing what the fuck you’re supposed to do. I don’t think it was done on purpose, at most it was something that got noticed but was decided as not worthy of fixing because of the show’s nature. But after the line about the the shows’s sales this week, who the hell knows.

This shit is pretty good. At first I was like, DON'T BE A CREEEEEEEEEEP! And when he was I just wanted to watch the train wreck and see where it went. It then kept me hanging and making me want to see more to see what the fuck was actually going on. From what I have seen thus far, I would like to continue watching. Not only for the story but I like the music in it and the cinematography...if that makes any sense. I want to say the way it was shot but it was drawn...I dunno. The way they play with the light and angles and shit is nice.
