No, that's Rockman & Bass.
Why would anyone bother faking the JP version of anything? The money is in selling to American hipsters on eBay.

You can find so many examples of fakes online. Why are you a lazy fuck?
>During the Atari 7800’s life cycle, Atari found themselves struggling to get developers to create 7800 versions of then-popular arcade titles because of a controversial policy employed by Nintendo. When Nintendo revived the industry, they signed up software development companies to create Nintendo Entertainment System games under a strict license agreement which imposed serious restrictions on what they were allowed to do. One of the key clauses was that companies who made Nintendo games were not allowed to make that game on a competing system for a...

Has there ever been a bigger fall-from-grace than Atari?

Breakfast.
Anymore, emulation. Its just too damn convent. And being able to save state in games that lack proper saving makes it so I can actually have a chance to play thru them since I get such a small amount of time per day that I can fuck around with games (being an adult sucks)
inb4 shitstorm
OoT was so great. The meme is to hate it now or deny its excellence and that's so utterly retarded and wrong. It's the second best Zelda after LA and it's highly unlikely that this will ever change. Majora's Mask is terrible, just so we're clear.

fuck off
What can /vr/ tell me about this?
Its a game. You do stuff in it.
it was my favourite game as a kid.
Comfiest game.
My only gripe is having to remember a lot of stuff, or to keep notes, because of how quickly the focus changes. An ability to keep notes in-game would be nice (i.e. "waiting for a blacksmith in this colony", "these Indians currently trade in tobacco, rum and coats" etc.) I wonder if FreeCol addresses this already, or if it's possible to mod this in.
Are we ever getting scans of this?
It contains lots of concept art, notes, and pre-release content of /vr/ classics like Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards, and plenty of spin-offs.

Aren't you happy with the 25th anniversary collection??
>>3249592
You mean the western 20th anniversary book? No, it's missing almost 200 pages of content.
>>3249597
Ohhh you're looking for books. This is for video games.
Soo... last sunday i got my hands on a ps1 slim console for $50, all the hookups, two controllers and the best part, it is already modded for backup games.
I have a few Isos on my harddrive for the more popular games, msotly RPG's but i want to burn some platformers and fighting games for saturday night couch brooop.
Whats the best plave to download PS1 Isos? i used to download them from the pirates bay years ago but all of them are pretty much gone.
>>3322582
Soul Blade, Tekken 1-3 and Bushido blade are decent on PS1. Stay away from the 2D ones though. Cut animations and choppy gameplay abound on PS1.

Except, y'know, the whole thing about Rayman and Symphony of the Night being better on PS1.
Was he retarded? What's the point of this character?
>>3322481
Comical relief. Although the game's writing is so shit everyone is a comical relief
it's a children's video game..... maybe ur retarded
He's a big doof. You look at him and see things your cat does.
is this where the sonic "sega" chant comes from? their japanese commercials?

is this where the mario "coin" sound comes from? the mario game?

These commercials are great. I didn't know about that handle controller for Hang-On.
>>3322413
I don't feel like getting a master system but damn, they really nailed the japanese commercials for it!
Last retro game you bought / emulated? Or accessory?
>>3321741
last game bought? Probably Tetris Plus on PSX as part of a bundle. Great game, love the puzzle mode. I think it finally sold me on component video too.
just copped one of these bad boys and a master system, 2 controllers, and zillion (while i waited for this in the mail). waiting for my fm sound expansion to get here from australia.
emulated Wizardry Dimguil.
they need to do a fantranslation for this.
nobody without japanese skills can play it otherwise.
it has an excellent soundtrack as well.

Think you can still get Activision high score patches? I'm pretty sure that I'm Sub Club material here.

How is Tuscon? Arizona always intimidated with the heat waves I hear about.
>>3321681
hot chicks and experimentation? Sounds good. I hate heat though, 80 is my preferred upper limit.
Either way, how are Steve Cartwright's other games? I might have to look into them based on how much I enjoy Seaquest.
I dare you to name one character more rad than Radical Rex.
Oh wait, you can't.
Alfonsín
Tubular Triceratops
Awesome Possum.
Mario, while you lay there, hopefully as uncomfortable as you possibly can be, I want you to listen to me.
I want you to digest this because before I leave in 4 weeks as /vr/’s favorite mascot, I have a lot of things I want to get off my chest.
I don’t hate you, Mario. I don’t even dislike you. I do like you. I like you a hell of a lot more than I like most people in this industry.
I hate this idea that you’re the best. Because you’re not. I’m the best. I’m the best in the world. There’s one thing you’re better at than I am and that’s kissing the game critics ass.
You’re as good as kissing the game critics ass as Zelda is. I don’t know if you’re as good as Pac-Man though. He's a pretty good ass kisser. Always was and still is.
Whoops! I’m breaking the fourth wall! (Sonic waves to the camera)
I am the best video game character in the world.
Is this a shoot?
mario
I thought we were a-friends, Sonic.
I was trying to remember an older game. I don't remember much, and don't expect much to come from asking here, but the game has been bothering me for a while. The game was roughly set around you playing as a little robot or something like that and you shot blue lasers out of a gun on your shoulder. You were on some kinda planet and you killed enemies and absorbed them for more upgrades. If anyone knows what it is I would love to know.
mario
It wasn't Atomic Robo Kid, was it?
Can anyone here remember a 16-bit fighter with this werewolf character (pic)? It had StreetFighter style life bars, so it's not Killer Instinct. Thought for certain it was Super Nintendo but not sure now.
I got this somewhat recently and started playing. Is it really that bad guys? I need some honest opinions, not just comparisons to Trigger.
>>3320774
I liked it a lot better than Trigger. But I also don't like Trigger all that much.
Just make up your own fucking mind. Stop worrying that your opinion doesn't line up with the most popular ones around. Play the game and see for yourself if you like it.
>>3320774
It's good but it tends to drag and it's pretty easy save for a few parts. Magic is largely worthless.
>>3320774
mostly nostalgia plays a big role when it is getting judged, Toriyamas style was the glue that kept all those ideas of CT together. Also the faggots that felt the need to compare it to FF7
