Nintendo Power isn't a physical copy. It's a flash cartridge you could use to download games from terminals.

Has a game ever left you with a feeling you're unable to describe? Like you see the visuals, hear the audio, you see it and appreciate it in one sense but then feel something deep down that you're unable to put into words.

Guess I could describe it as "mystery" when I first played it back in 96 as a kid. Still hold that nostalgic feeling whenever I play it. The rest of the series feels like a dumb action movie.
Best way to play pic related? MSX2 european port? Wii re-release? The version inside MGS3? (hope not, I don't have a PS2 and I can't afford shit right now)

If you desperately want to get into the series, start with MG2, the fan translation is pretty good.
If you're keen on starting with MG1 download a patched ROM which is the European MSX2 release with a bunch of restored stuff and play that.
Playing the ports inside MGS3 should take no more than a toaster (comparatively to the average rig today) and PCSX2 with the speedhacking cracked to eleven.

Is there an emulator or rom to get the playstation CD player thing on my PC? Id love to have some weird 90's animation thing while I play music. The Playstation one had great options too, looked all funky and surreal and shit. This thing.

Dunno m8 the cd-player is part of the BIOS. So my only advice is to look for a emu that can boot to BIOS.

My music player knowledge is pretty limited, but I think Winamp is what you'd be looking for. It's got a pretty sick visualizer (I think it's called like that) named MilkDrop.
An in-topic answer would be downloading the SCPH-750x BIOS (make sure not to get an inferior version; x can be 0, 1, 2, 3) and just boot the BIOS in your favorite emulator, then you might proceed in getting to the CD player (don't ask me if Red Books will work on most emulators, haven't tried, no reason they shouldn't...

I found this ad on eBay and I had to share it with you guys. someone is selling a shitload of archived pirated Amiga and commodore games. I don't understand how the seller could think that this is worth anything, considering you could probably fit all the data on these disks onto a portable Hard drive. The portable hard drive wouldn't be compatible with an actual amiga or commodore though, as they don't have usb ports.
That's why it has value, it does something your solution does not do.
I think all amiga users use either CF adapters in their A600 or A1200 and floppy emulators for the A500. I bet you could fit that entire collection on a single CF card. The only hassle is using the Amiga file system for that many images.
The main value of that listing is there is probably at least a few programs/games that were "lost".

I have a Sony HitBit MSX2 with box and manual that I bought a decade or so ago. Don't have too many games.
wheres the cheapest place i can get an fm-pac or equivalent?
It may not have the best graphics compared to the Amiga but the ports and music were the best. And they really look nice.
